Kingsmeadow Games 2017

The Kingsmeadow Games took place on Friday 7th July and featured a wide range of sporting activities, all taking place on our state of the art sporting facilities. Students from all year groups took part, including our year 6 cohort who will join us at Kingsmeadow in September. Staff members helped to coordinate each activity and even took part in a few! Special thanks should be given to Miss Skirrey, Miss Pattison and Miss Coupe for helping to organise the day.

Students competed as part of their house group, earning points in the hope of being awarded the winners trophy and each dressed in their house colours. It was a fun-packed day and everyone who took part in whatever capacity was a credit to the school.

At the end of the day the whole school gathered together on the sports field to witness the house tug-of-war competition and relay races. Finally, Mr Pettit (hosting his last ever Kingsmeadow Games) presented the winning team with their trophy.

Congratulations to TYNE HOUSE! 2017 winners!
